CAMPUS ACTIVITIES
STUDENT UNION
The Mymensingh Medical College Students’ Union (MMSCU) is an organization elected by the students of the college. The twenty member representative body is elected once a year by direct voting, which is conducted by an Election Commission. The Principal of the College is the ex-officio president and the treasurer is selected from the teachers. The Students Union not only look after the matters related to welfare of the students but also organize curricular & extracurricular programs throughout the year. They arrange various competitions and cultural programs which bring relief to the monotonous study schedules. The Vice-President & the General Secretary of MMCSU are the student representative members of the Academic Council which enables them to present the problems of the students to the council members & help solve them.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
Students of Mymensingh Medical College get a lot of opportunities to exercise their cultural activities. Various cultural programs are held in the college - dramas, cultural weeks, debates, band shows and many other programs are arranged throughout the year. Eid-e-miladunnabi, Sharashwati Puja (Bani Archona) and other religious festivals are also observed.
GAMES AND SPORTS
Once a year, annual sports meet is held under the auspices of the Students Union (MMCSU). Besides, football and cricket competitions are also held among different batches. Facilities batches. Facilities for football, tennis, cricket, volleyball, hockey, badminton etc, exist within the campus. Equipments for table tennis chess and carom are also available in the college common room.
