Medical Education Unit:
A Medical Education Cell was established in Mymensingh Medical College in the year 1976 for improving the efficiency of the teachers through continues Medical education. The activities of the cell was to hold clinical seminars, workshops and follow-up meetings.
Subsequently in 1986 the cell was renamed as Medical Education Unit (MEU). Since then it has been acting as an affiliated unit of Centre for Medical Education (CMED located at Dhaka) and its activities have been remarkably enhanced.
By the sponsorship of British Council, MEU has been renovated, decorated and equipped up to the level of an international standard. Medical Education Unit of Mymensingh Medical College is quite rich in the sense that it has 4 computers and 2 multimedia, over head projectors and an adequate arrangement, for media development.
